A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to walk out my front door to find a package on my front steps - my December GlossyBox!  That's definitely one of my favorite things about monthly beauty subscriptions... every month can have a new surprise!

December's Box:

I was very excited about this month's box!  Not only did I receive six great beauty products, but also a Holiday gift from JewelMint!

1.  Zoya Nail Laquer in Ziv

This is a truly stunning gold nail polish.  It is the perfect metallic shade, ideal for every skin tone.  After two coats it was perfectly opaque, and wonderfully shiny.  It lasts substantially longer than many other nail polishes I've tried without chipping whatsoever.

2.  Heartland Fragrance Co. White Tea Epsom Salts

I used this up quickly!  These deliciously scented bath salts left my skin feeling so soft and sweet smelling.  The package I received lasted for two baths - no face eating involved, just pure relaxation.  Much needed after the holidays!

3.  Wella Velvet Amplifier

This product is a "Style Primer" for your hair.  I was slightly skeptical of this, but pleasantly surprised by how soft and manageable this made my hair!  I applied it damp to my hair and then proceeded to blow dry and curl my hair.  Even after a whole day, my hair was still silky smooth and locked in place - and I didn't use hairspray!

4.  mark. LipClick Luxe Lipstick in M.Powerment Petal

I can't even begin to tell you how impressed I am by this lipstick!  mark. Cosmetics have lots of wonderful products, but this is one I've never tried.  I was actually a bit disappointed to see this in my box at first (I don't really consider mark. a luxury brand) but after my first use I was convinced.  As the name implies, this is a truly luxe lipstick - the formula is smooth, creamy, and perfectly pigmented.  It actually moisturized my lips (unlike so many lip products that claim to do so but fall short) - and it even had a slight cooling sensation.  The "LipClick" packaging is very cool as well - a sturdy metal tube with a magnetic closure that clicks closed securely.  I'm not really a fan of the all-over mark. logo, but I can certainly handle it.  Much love!

5. Denise Richards Volume Extend by Christophe

This is a nice finishing spray, but I wasn't truly blown away by it.  It is just a finishing spray.  It left good shine in my hair, and had a really nice, light scent.  It didn't hold my style perfectly, but it did make a difference in the way my hair looked.  I like it, and I will surely be continuing to use it!

6.  Pleats Please! Fragrance by Issey Miyake

Normally I don't get too excited over perfume samples, because I'm not a huge fragrance buff.  But whenever I find a great scent, I become obsessed and wear it all the time!  This is that scent for me, currently.  Pleats Please just released in September 2012, and is a joyful, optimistic and exuberant fragrance of "vertically pleated" flowery, fruity and woody structure (not my words, I can't describe fragrance other than "love" and "hate").  I've gotten tons of compliments already!

7.  "Park Ave" Ring by JewelMint

I actually got the silver version of this ring, which is also very gorgeous.  It is a very interesting, geometric ring with a bit of bling.  I wore it on New Years Eve and it worked great with my outfit - classy but casual.  This ring can be found on JewelMint.com! (I think it's currently sold out though)

Overall, I'm really pleased with all of the products in this month's GlossyBox.  I highly recommend it!
